Trent Hoole

Most recently Trent worked in Chief Operating Officer roles in the not-for-profit and private sectors in New York City, with both international development and fintech organizations. From 2012 to 2018, he served as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel at IDRC, where his responsibilities included corporate legal services delivery, compliance, and corporate governance across global operations. Earlier in his career, Trent worked in progressively senior legal roles at IDRC and variously at a litigation firm and legal aid clinic, representing clients on a range of civil litigation and administrative law issues. He holds a J.D. and B.A.(Hons) and is a member of the Bar of Ontario, Canada.
