ESG at IDRC
As part of Strategy 2030, IDRC made a strong commitment to being a sustainable and inclusive organization. This commitment is at the root of environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations.
IDRC’s annual ESG reports highlight our commitment to these considerations as essential to our vision of building a more sustainable and inclusive world. The reports, published on our website, underline important elements and outline actions being taken to integrate ESG practices into our work – from reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, to advancing integrity and ethical standards, among other efforts.
The annual reports detail progress towards implementing IDRC’s ESG framework in all three of the Centre’s functions – operations, research and programming, and grants and funding partnerships – while acknowledging the ongoing work required.
Our employees, leadership, Board of Governors and all stakeholders have been instrumental in our journey. Together, we'll continue to work towards creating a better world for all.
